Last night I got Coram back into one piece, which is a huge relief. [Neal says yeah, no shit.] it took some finaggling -- I got him strung, and he was suddenly so tight that I couldn't get the force to pull his s-hook into his head. This was about when I punched myself in the eye, which was exciting. I ended up unstringing his legs, hooking his head in, and then going back and doing each leg. It worked fine, except that now he's REALLY tight. I mourn the loss of my floppy boy! I suppose this is better, though, because he actually HOLDS the awesome poses I cajole him into. |
Now he just needs a face-up and his torso re-dyed, and he'll be... what's the word? Oh, right, AMAZING.
Today I made chicken stew! From absolute scratch, for the first time. I am ridiculously proud of myself, since it was mostly leftovers and I didn't follow any set recipe, just basically went, "Uhhhhhhhh... *dumps in pot*" It turned out really well, though -- the gravy didn't lump up or anything. And now I've got rediculous amounts of stew stowed in the fridge, which means that dinner is taken care of for at least a couple days. *dances*
Also tracked down my W2s. ONe, at least, I can go pick up tomorrow -- of course, the one I need appears to have been lost in the beaurocracy of Brookline Village Hall. >.< Waiting for a call back when they find it -- otherwise we get to play this game again tomorrow.
Two more job apps in, and an interview at Anthro tomorrow. SOMEONE'S got to hire me. This is getting rediculous. >.
